If I volunteer what tasks can I expect to be doing at Salt & Light?

• Sorting clothes
• Hanging up clothes
• Sorting through household items
• Empty collection bins
• Assemble food bags
• Light general cleaning
• Administrative tasks (accounting, mailings, reception)

The above duties are the main tasks that you can expect to do when you volunteer at Salt & Light. Your help is desperately needed.

How do I begin the process so that I can volunteer at Salt & Light?

1. Fill out the online Salt & Light Volunteer Application
2. Attend a 20 minute orientation session. Orientation sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at either 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. Orientation sessions must be scheduled in advance with Thad Sweet.

There are no minimum volunteer time requirements once you are a Salt & Light volunteer. You can choose to volunteer for 1 hour or 90 hours; Salt & Light would love to have your help!
