SPECIAL EVENTS

Gift Give-Away: At Christmas time we run a gift give-away to help those in need at a very important time of year. During this event children are able to pick out a gift for their parents while the parents pick out gifts for their children. We have snacks and activities for the children, and gift wrapping is also provided.

Family Resource Day: In August of every year we have the opportunity to partner with area churches through the Christian Mercy & Justice Network to help those in need prepare for the new school year. Back-packs, school supplies, school physicals and dental exams, food, and clothing are all provided for free to families in need in Champaign County.

Golf Outing: In August we partner with Talks Mentoring to host the Brian Cook Charity Golf Scramble. All of the proceeds from this event are split between Talks and Salt & Light to help with the work we do. For more information on this event visit www.briancookgolf.org.
