DONATIONS

Financial Support: Our biggest need is your financial support. Salt & Light is funded through donations from generous individuals, churches, organizations and businesses. Our goal is to establish a base of consistent monthly donors which will provide financial stability and longevity for the ministry. Just 425 donors at $25 per month will cover our annual budget!

This is possible because our staff raises their own support, which keeps our administrative costs down allowing us to use the dollars donated for what they were intended-serving others. Monthly support levels are determined by our donors and we offer automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account o make the process even easier.

Food Donations: We do accept donations of food, and encourage churches, youth groups, and other organizations to consider food drives as a way to build community involvement. Food donations can be dropped off on Thursdays from 10am-4pm.

Clothing Donations: Our clothing closet is completely reliant on clothing donations. The furniture, appliances, household items, and toys we distribute are also donated. We accept most items for donation that can be of use to someone else, and are in good condition. If you have clothing or other smaller items for donation we have three sheds located on the west side of the building which are open 24 hours/day for drop off. We ask that no items be left outside of the sheds. All other items are only accepted on Thursdays from 10 to 4. If you have more than one truckload you want to bring out you must schedule a time for delivery with the Operations Manager (email link to Thad Sweet). We reserve the right to refuse any items that we feel will not benefit the people we serve. Unfortunately, we are unable to pick up any items for donation.
